This Fisher 37 derivative was built by Freeward Marine and fitted out privately to a very high standard as a mid wheelhouse sloop rigged motor sailer.
The original Fisher 37 hull has been finished to a very heavy lay up with hardwood transverse and longitudinal framing and the construction includes water tight bulkheads. This gives great strength and the ability to stand up to the most demanding conditions.
The additional displacement over the standard Fisher 37 is balanced by a larger rig giving excellent sea keeping and sailing performance off the wind.
It will become obvious that considerable additional strength has been built into this boat, and that comfort has been given a lower priority. The finished result is a vessel which will withstand the toughest demands at sea while maintaining the highest levels of safety.
It can be seen that there is huge scope for making additional measures to improve habitability should this be required by a new owner.
