A classic Silver's/Bain design Ormidale motor sailer built from mahogany on oak in 1958 at the Silvers yard in Rosneath. Known as the "Ormidale 38 1/2 ft T.S.D.Y" (that's Twin Screw Displacement Yacht), she is a very substantial and much sought after boat. The two Thornycroft 2.5 litre engines give powerful yet economical performance and excellent manoeuvrability. Fuel consumption reported to be less than 3 gallons per hour at a cruising speed of 7.5 knots.
Originally built as a motor sailer, the mast and rigging is now missing but could be replaced by the new owner if required.
