Master Marine Eygthene 24 - Boat Details

Designed by the now famous Ron Holland whilst he was working in the engineering dept of Morgan Yachts in St Petersburg Florida, Holland designed the Eygthene to compete for the IOR Quarter ton rule. The proto- type won the 1973 Quarter ton championships in Weymouth on her first outing.

This version was built in 1976 by Master Marine in Guernsey

The fin keel and ballast/displacement ratio of over 52% offers the Possibility to carry more sail

Her wide beam offers lots of room and stowage below decks.

In A second hand boat test which featured in the March 2003 issue of Yachting Monthly,she was said to be
"a delight to sail, very light on the helm and With razor sharp pointing ability".
