This boat is offered at an exceptional price due to health problems for the owner. She does need some cosmetic work but is in fair condition for her age and would make a very comfortable cruiser for the family.
She is seaworthy, roomy and comfortable, with a double ended long keel hull its construction is based on a commercial design formerly used in Coast guard rescue cutters and Pilot boats in the North Sea.
The hull is constructed to Lloyds register standards, and every Finnsailer was delivered with Lloyds certification.
Although perhaps thought of as a motor sailer she actually has good sailing properties and she has a powerful Perkins 85 HP diesel engine which will move her along at 8+ knots.
With 100 gals of fuel capacity she has a range under power of around 600 miles.
At 6.5 knots /1600rpm she would use 1 gal per hour.
There are two helm positions, one in the spacious cockpit and a second in the doghouse, with adequate shelter from the elements.
In addition she comes with a full cockpit enclosure in effect turning the cockpit into a spacious cabin, perfect for entertaining or just relaxing while at anchor or while berthed, regardless of what the weather does.
