Additional Info:

Said by many to be the most beautiful sailing yacht they have ever seen ? Habibys was built by Pao Hsiang Taiwan/ Ta Chiao Shipbuilding Co Ltd under American supervision, reputedly for an Arab Sheik and has been built, finished and maintained to an outstanding standard.

She had a complete refit in approximately 1995 and looks magnificent with her Silver Spruce masts and spars. She was sailed from Taiwan via the Channel Islands by previous owners and also sailed in the Mediterranean before being bought by the present owners who have cruised extensively on the West Coast of Scotland. Her current owners have equipped her for ultimate luxurious comfort and space and some of the features are parquet floors throughout the living area, beautiful original wood carvings, bespoke carpets, hand cast designer brass door handles and teak laminated stairway with carved handrails, leather upholstery throughout as well as many other special features.

She has also been equipped for ease of sailing and is usually single handed by the skipper. Some features that make this possible are an electric Bamar roller reefing on the jib, electric anchor winch, self tacking staysail, an electric winch behind the cockpit and both cockpit and down below steering as well as the sophisticated start of the art electronics.
