A good example of the beautiful and well sought after Cheoy Lee Clipper 36. Designed by Bill Luders and built by the Cheoy Lee shipyard in Hong Kong in 1973.
She has stunning looks and a good reputation for strength and go anywhere abilities.

Accommodation:

7 berths with good headroom. Saloon with FORCE 10 heater, teak finish, upholstery recovered in saloon and quarterberth in 2010.
Forward heads was new in 2010 (Plastimo) with basin.
Forward cabin with V berth and infill (double), pilot berth (single), convertible dinette (double) and 2 bunks.


Galley:

2 burner cooker with oven and grill. Stainless steel sink.


Sails:

Genoa by Sketrick sails and Profurl reefing and new foil - (2009)
Staysail - Poole sails ? (1996)
Main by Poole sails ? (1996)
Mizzen by Poole sails ? (1996)
Both main and mizzen have stack packs and lazy jacks and the mainsail is fully battened.


Instruments:

Compass, Raymarine depth sounder, Clipper GPS repeater log, Silva VHF, Garmin GPS 120, JRC 1000 radar, NAVTEX Clipper, Raymarine RC435 Chart plotter, Raymarine 4000 autopilot new in 2005.


Electrical System:

Rewired in 2009. 12 volt, 2 batteries for domestic and 1 for starting. Shore power connection.

Bruce 35 lbs anchor with 50 metres chain
Lofrans electric windlass new in 2009
Fishermans anchor with warp. Lead angel.
Stereo
Warps and fenders, boathook, boarding ladder, cockpit cushions, spare fuel can, clock / barometer, winch handles.


Additional Info:

Fitted with a strongly built doghouse giving excellent shelter.

Some Chinese constructed boats of this age have had a reputation for problems developing with the decks. This one does not have such a problem and she is noticeably dry inside even in the persistent Argyll rain. Recently an additional fuel filler was added by the owner and a photograph of the deck piece cut out for this can be seen in the photographs.
