Very spacious open foredeck
A late example of the 36 foot Solaris Sunrise Cruising Catamaran. The hulls and superstructure were molded in the mid 1990's but she was finished off and first launched in 2000.
The Sunrise is a solidly built ocean cruiser offering spacious accommodation and stowage.
She has sailed the Eastern Irish coast, the Bristol Channel and the West Coast of Scotland including the Outer Hebrides and St Kilda.
Equipped for passage making to the Mediterranean, the owners have changed their plans due to a family addition.
Capable of 10 knots under sail and 7.5 knots under power with the twin Volvo Sail drives.
The interior is light and airy with oak veneer woodwork and insulated headings throughout. All upholstery is hard waring material in bright patterned fabric

With six foot headroom the accommodation is extensive.
The port cabin has en suite heads with wash handbasin (hot and cold water) in vanity unit and overhead stowage.
Forward in the port hull is a workbench/stowage area with bookshelves inboard. Further forward is a generous single cabin with hanging wardrobe, shelf and under bunk stowage. Access to depth sounder and water tank under bunk.
In the starboard hull forward of the galley is the main heads with sink (hot and cold) and stowage including the wet locker, holding tank and second water tank. A shower sump is fitted but the actual shower is not. It would be a simple job to add the required plumbing and sump pump.
From the cockpit one comes directly to the saloon which has generous seating for at last eight people around a drop leaf table.
The port side settee converts to a single berth. There are overhead lights and reading lights on either side of the saloon. The starboard side of the seating ends in a storage cabinet.
The navigation station has a large chart table and pull out seat with shelves over and bookshelf above. Access to switch panels, batteries, charger and inverter (240 volt) is from the chart table. A small window gives the helmsman communication with the navigator.
The Galley runs along the starboard hull and has a 4 burner hob, SMEV oven with grill, 65 litre Isotherm fridge (240 and 12 volt), 240 volt microwave, Paloma gas water heater and pressurised hot and cold water. Sink with drainer. Water filter to galley cold water. All appliances have gas isolation valves. Crockery, cutlery, storage containers, toaster and kettle are included.
Fully battened Main, Genoa, Staysail all 2000, Cruising Chute with Snuffer 2003, all made by Jeckells and all in good condition.
Garmin 128 GPS, Nasa Clipper Wind speed and direction, Speed/Log, Depth (repeated at chart table), Cetrek Autopilot (linked to GPS), Hydraulic link to rudder, VHF radio, gimbaled compass in cockpit.
12 volt. 7x110AH domestic batteries plus 2x60AH engine batteries.
Shore power to circuit breaker/fusebox. inverter provides 240 volts to mains sockets, Stirling battery charger/management system. Volt meter and extractor fan for battery compartment.
Phoenix 20 inflatable dinghy.
Stainless steel davits and bathing platform, boarding ladder
Auto bilge pumps have been fitted in each engine bay with manual bilge pumps in each hull.
Fire extinguishers are fitted in each cabin, engine bays and galley. the galley also has a fire blanket.
The engine bays are fitted with tube heaters for frost protection in winter.
A Webasto diesel hot air heating system has a burner unit in each engine bay and feeds a total of six outlets throughout the boat.
There are three anchors on board with warp and 30 meters of chain. A manual anchor windlass is provided.
1x20 litre and 2x 10 litre diesel containers, lines and fenders are included.
The guardrails have entrance gates at port and starboard stern.
In preparation for long the trip to the Med., the saildrive diaphragm seals have been replaced.
The davits have been designed with the fitting of solar panels in mind, although none are fitted currently.
